Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to Host Community Parkinson’s Health Fair
Faculty and students provide hands-on support and guidance
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is hosting a Parkinson’s Health Fair on April 22, 2026, for individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease and their caregivers.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s and Institutes will host a free community health fair focused on sharing the latest recommendations and research on Parkinson’s disease. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 22, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ , 3450 Lacey Road, Downers Grove. The event is free to the public, but registration is required.
Designed for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers, the event will offer informational materials, brief screenings, and practical resources aimed at enhancing quality of life. Faculty and students will lead interactive stations covering a wide range of topics, including speech, swallowing, hearing, balance, strength, cognition, bowel and bladder issues, and mobility.
Additional Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ services, including Family Medicine, Behavioral Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Dental, and Vision, will also be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
The annual event reflects Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s commitment to community health and interprofessional collaboration, bringing together multiple disciplines to support patients and families with compassionate, evidence-based care.
